Ok, so I know I promised to blog about something once a month but we have been so busy yis summer. I was actually mentioning that I think I am busier in te summer than during the school year. What's up with me....full time summer student that may get a B in a college math class(yeah) TBall coach and field supervisor, Summer Day Camp site leader, front desk receptionist, part time friend and full time mom..
Ash has been at U of A doing a summer internship at the Cancer Center they have, she will be home next week and we are glad. She has had a lot of fun and made many new friends and some money but we miss her. We talk to her everyday and all we can sometimes hear is her laughing with her roomate, no need for mom as much anymore. This has shown both her and I that she is ready for college ):. Maddy has been the queen of summertime here in Show Low. She has cheer almost everyday from 6 to 8(and thats am folks) Thursday's she has tumbling and stunting all afternoon, student council meetings, fundraisers, and being dragged around with me everywhere. On another exciting note, when we went and visited Ash in Tucson she won a $210 dollar gift card from Forever 21 and she was asked to sing National Anthem during the first day of school assembly. Woot Woot Maddy. Kendall and Piper played Tball this season and swam a bunch in the pool and at our frequent fishing trips to Fool Hollow Lake where we caught nothing but fun (: They are both excited for school this year, we thought Kendall was going to be our last baby and she is starting kindergarten this year, she is so little but so smart. Piper will be doing all day preschool as well. I had to think about that long and hard but I have to work full time and it was just too much always having grandma watch her. Well thats about it from me so far this summer. I am sure more exciting things will come.

Madison "The Girl With the Stone"
Maddy's new nickname given to her by the peepee dr. We have had quite an eventful past few weeks, not only has Ash had undiagnosed stomache pains, Madison spent last weekend in the ER recovering from kidney stones. We are still waiting to find out when her surgery will be down in the valley. We spent this weekend in Gilbert because Madison was voted in to All State and performed at Higley High with others all across the state. We also had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. Spring Break is this week so in addition to catching up on all my school work, we will be painting inside the house and Ash and I will be traveling to U of A on friday for a tour of the campus.

Grandma Conner's Funeral
We went to the valley over the weekend for Brandon's grandma's funeral. Although it was a very sad occasion, it was nice to visit with family.

Snow Week 2010
We survived..Sort of..I did wind up getting stuck going up our street today and had to wait for someone to pull me out...It was horrifying,"The Hills Have Eyes" scary. Anyhoo. The kids have finally gone back to school after a holiday on monday and then 3 snow days in a row. And lo and behold more snow is coming. Madison made ALLState which is an AZ Honor Choir type thing. She will be competing a few times in the valley this spring. Ash is still working hard on her degree and hoping for #1 in her class. Kendall and I work everyday on her preschooling. I swear my kid is not going to start kindergarten without skills. I see too many kids that have no clue how to write their own name in 1st grade or even read in high school.

2010
Ok KC this is all for you...My New Years resolution will be to keep up my blog although I kinda use my FB as my blog I was informed that people want stories. So I will start fresh with 2010 happenings.
I am starting a new job working full time at the high school as a math inclusion aide. I was hired to help all IEP students in Algebra. I am excited but scared because math is not my favorite or even best(or 2nd best subject). But I have been subbing for a year now and I really wanted a more permenant, benefited position. I am sad because I will have to give up working for the city and running the afterschool program..I am still hoping I will be able to do the summer program. I just can't do a full time job, part time job, full time student and be a mom. Enough about me.
Ashton is still working for the city as well as getting ready to volunteer one day a week at the hospital. She is taking college classes in the morning and high school classes in the afternoon. She also is in the running for #1 in her class.
Madison made All-State in choir so she will be joining a few kids all over the state in competition. Maddy also is on the dance team and hopefully I will be able to talk her in to another year of track.
Kendall turned 5 yesterday and she had "the best day of her life" she said. She was mad at Santa for not bringing her a laptop for Christmas so mom and dad made sure we were smarter than Santa and got her the right one. She wanted to go to Pizza Factory because thats were her older sister had her bash. Kendall is so excited to start school next year. I work with her everyday to make sure she will be ready. She can write her name and recognize colors, shapes, letters, and numbers. She is even starting to read short sentences.
Piper is a typical 3 year old. She drives her older sisters crazy. Sometimes I don't know if Piper and Kendall are best friends or worst enemies. She sits in on Kendall's daily lessons and is getting pretty smart herself.
